Paralympian Siti Noor Iasah Mohamed Ariffin is a 400m runner. As such, there was no high expectations on her when she decided to compete in the women’s 800m T20 (learning disability) event at the Kuala Lumpur Asean Para Games. But yesterday, the 28-year-old mother of a five-year-old girl sprang a huge surprise when she won the gold in 2:34.12 at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil.

OVR Executive Director Arlene Yamagata, M.S., CRC shared that training included a combination of lecture, hands-on experience, client demonstrations, case examples, and opportunities for group discussion.
