Act on issues for parents with special needs kids

Art therapy has improved Nanthini’s skills and given her confidence.

TODAY, my special child Preeya Nanthini Doraisingam, 28, works in a sheltered workshop known as Wisma Harapan, located in Brickfields.

It was set up over 55 years ago by DR Daniels, the father of a special needs daughter, Daisy Daniels, 62, who continues to work at Wisma Harapan. Both her parents have died and she is managed by her sister, who is overseas.
