Tears of joy. A cheering crowd. An overwhelming feeling of euphoria. In 2016, Malaysian Paralympians won the first golds for our country at the 2016 Summer Paralympics held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

That year marked a proud moment as they returned home bearing 3 gold and 1 bronze from the international sporting event.

Basking in the afterglow of victory, the athletes are immensely proud that their efforts and hard work have paid off. Their success at the Paralympics opened doors for new opportunities and experiences.

In 2017, Ridzuan Puzi and Mohd Ziyad Zolkefli, two of the three gold medal winners, were brought on as brand ambassadors for Dairy Champ.

Their individual journeys to where they are today started many years ago. Here are their stories.
